Project Overview
Following the September 27, 2025 coastal bluff collapse in Rancho Palos Verdes, where approximately 300-400 linear feet of slope subsided 50-60 feet toward the coastline as reported by the Los Angeles Times, AeroViews was deployed to conduct a comprehensive aerial survey and geospatial analysis.
The land movement damaged several backyards along Marguerite Drive, requiring precise documentation for geotechnical assessment, insurance claims, and stabilization planning. Our response team utilized advanced drone-mounted LiDAR technology and high-resolution photogrammetry to capture critical terrain data.
This rapid deployment provided essential information for structural engineers, geologists, and city officials managing this isolated land subsidence event, enabling immediate safety assessments and long-term planning.
